Here's another mix I did recently. It runs for just over an hour and starts off with a bit of Drum & Bass before progressing into more of a soundclash/jungle style. These are tunes I've bought recently so if you've downloaded some of my other mixes this should be 'new' stuff. Excuse some of the scratching, I'm just learning :)

DJ Freestyle - Hip Hop Mix

Here's another mix from DJ Freestyle. This is mainly a hip hop mix which includes artists such as Run DMC, Nas and Souls Of Mischief. It runs for around 75 minutes and has loads of nice, head-nodding beats so download and enjoy. Freestyle will be playing at Recess at the Playtime Bar in Islington on Saturday 25th September. Recess runs from 8pm to 2 am and will cost you absolutely nothing to get in, which is always a bonus. The Recess evenings were set up by Spinback Promotions and the following dates are booked:

• Saturday 25th September
• Saturday 30th October.

Pogo Pope Compilation

To celebrate the pope's visit to the UK I've put together a nice little selection of punk tracks that are all related to religion. As you can probably guess I don't have the highest opinion of religion and the existence of a god or creator. Basically I'm what is known as an explicit atheist. Check out the wikipedia page for more information or visit the investigating atheism pages from the University of Cambridge. There's also the official Richard Dawkins site which is full of interesting stuff.

Vaultage 78

Vaultage 78 was a compilation album featuring various punk and new wave bands from Brighton. I think this is probably the first time Peter & The Test Tube Babies appeared on vinyl and the Piranhas for that matter but I don't know for sure.

God Bless America (Posh Hits Vol. 1)

This compilation album was originally released in 1983 on Posh Boy Records and features 16 tracks from some of the early Californian punk bands. Unfortunately it's a bit of a hit or miss album really, there's some really good tracks here but there are also a few that aren't that good. Obviously it depends on your own taste in music I suppose so you may as well download it just to be sure :)
